Application Process - U.S. Citizens

Your child’s application is complete when we have the following:

Application Form

Completed application form accompanied by a non-refundable $75.00 application fee  payable to The Highlands School.  Testing for Grades Kindergarten through 4 is included in this fee.

Entrance Exam

Kindergarten - 4th Grade:  Highlands School Entrance Exam required.

5th - 12th Grade:  ISEE Standardized Test required.

Recommendation Letter(s)

PK 3- 6th Grade:  One letter required.

7th - 12th Grade:  Two letters required. (Science/Math, English)

Transcript(s)

Required from all schools previously attended by applicant.

Birth Certificate

Please note: All children entering Pre-K 3 must be three years old on or before 9/1/12; all children entering Pre-K 4 must be four years old on or before 9/1/12; all children entering Kindergarten must be five years old on or before 9/1/12; and, all children entering first grade must be six years old on or before 9/1/12.  Absolutely no exceptions to this rule will be made.

Immunization Records 

Records must be in compliance with Texas State Health Department. 

Sacramental Record(s)

Required of all Catholic applicants.

Recent Family Photograph

Formal portrait is not required; a snapshot is sufficient.

Interview(s)

Family interview with the Director or Directress of Formation required.

Interview appointments will be set only after of the above documents are received.

Deadlines
