Parents’ Club of The Highlands School
The Parents’ Club strives to advance the mission of our school. As parents, we join with the teachers and staff to promote academics, character growth, and the spiritual formation of our children. We also want to create a fun, social atmosphere to bring our THS community closer together. We appreciate your willingness to volunteer and support school events.
Yearly events include the Back to School Ice Cream Social, Teacher Christmas Purse Party, Pope Day, Teacher Appreciation Day, Lower School Field Day, and Used Uniform Sale.
We are self-funded through the generous contributions from THS families to our annual Boosterthon fund drive. In addition to funding our events, we also give back to the school. Past gifts to the school have included contributions to the public announcement system and a mobile iPad cart.
Leadership within the Parents’ Club is comprised of President, Vice-Presidents, Treasurer, and committee chairs and co-chairs. We are always looking for new members for leadership roles. If you are interested in becoming a committee chair please contact the current club President.
Parents’ Club will host ongoing activities throughout the year. These are wonderful opportunities to volunteer and meet others in our community. You will see detailed descriptions in the THS weekly email and can find more information about the events on our THS website.
