A Private PreK - 12 College Preparatory Catholic School

Planned Giving

The heart of The Highlands is to form Catholic leaders who can transform culture so as to “reconcile all to Christ.” This mission was started when we first opened the doors in 1986 and is even stronger today.  The school was built over the years on the generosity of countless others who came before us and those supporting us today.

Your generosity helps to ensure that The Highlands School will always be there to provide this same benefit for future generations, just as those who came before us did for our families.

EASY PLANNING OPTIONS

Bequest from Your Will or Living Trust – You can easily make a charitable gift of a specific dollar amount, percentage of your estate/trust, a certain asset or make the Semper Altius Endowment Fund a “residual beneficiary”. In addition to a charitable gift, your trust or estate receives an estate tax deduction as well.

Beneficiary Designation from a Retirement Plan – By designating the Semper Altius Endowment Fund as a beneficiary of your IRA or retirement plan, you support our important mission and avoid both estate and income tax. All that is required is to name “The Catholic Foundation for the benefit of Semper Altius Endowment Fund” as beneficiary for a portion or all of your IRA or qualified retirement plan.

Charitable Gift of a Life Insurance Policy – You can assign whole life insurance policies and name “The Catholic Foundation for the benefit of Semper Altius Endowment Fund” as beneficiary. In return for your generosity, in most cases you receive a tax deduction for the premiums you have paid on the policy.
