In 2006-2007 the average ratio of teachers to students is 1:12.  All teachers have BA or BS degrees; many have achieved or are working on advanced degrees.

Classes are coed through the 3rd grade.

Separate boys' and girls' schools accommodate students in grades 4 through 12.

Mass is said in the chapel every day at 7:25 a.m. All families are welcome.

Communion Services are offered every day before lunch.

The school day at The Highlands begins at 8:10 a.m.

Lower School (full day pre-kindergarten through 3th grade) dismissal is at 3:10 p.m.

Middle School (4th through 8th grade) dismissal is at 3:30 p.m.

High School dismissal is at 3:30 p.m.

All students not picked up by 4:00 p.m. will be taken to After-school care.

The Highlands School requires that all students in pre-kindergarten programs for 3-year olds and 4-year-olds be completely potty trained.
