Liz Campos

Girls Volleyball Head
Coach
This is Liz Campos’
first year as The Highlands Head Volleyball Coach. She is
from San Antonio, Texas where she attended private Catholic
school from the age of three. She graduated from
Providence High School in 1998 where she was a member of the
Provet Volleyball team as one of the middle-blockers, and a
member of the Provet Track & Field team as one of the shot-put
and discus throwers.
She graduated from Texas Lutheran University
in May 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, and then
went on to earn a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a
specialization in Adapted Physical Education from Texas Woman’s
University in August 2004.
For the past five years, she has
been the Physical Education Teacher, Volleyball Coach, and
Athletic Director at St. Luke Catholic School where she has
successfully established and developed the physical education
and athletics program. In November 2007, the St. Luke
Saints Volleyball team brought home its first volleyball
championship since 1995.

Campos says “I am extremely excited and honored to be part of
The Highlands coaching staff. I look forward to the various
opportunities that will help me grow as an educator, coach, and
individual. But most of all, I look forward to serving as a
positive female role model that will help support, nurture, and
develop the young women of The Highlands.”
