Liz Campos

Position: Girls Volleyball Head Coach

This is Liz Campos’ first year as The Highlands Head Volleyball Coach.  She is from San Antonio, Texas where she attended private Catholic school from the age of three.  She graduated from Providence High School in 1998 where she was a member of the Provet Volleyball team as one of the middle-blockers, and a member of the Provet Track & Field team as one of the shot-put and discus throwers.

She graduated from Texas Lutheran University in May 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, and then went on to earn a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in Adapted Physical Education from Texas Woman’s University in August 2004.

For the past five years, she has been the Physical Education Teacher, Volleyball Coach, and Athletic Director at St. Luke Catholic School where she has successfully established and developed the physical education and athletics program.  In November 2007, the St. Luke Saints Volleyball team brought home its first volleyball championship since 1995.

Coach Campos says “I am extremely excited and honored to be part of The Highlands coaching staff.  I look forward to the various opportunities that will help me grow as an educator, coach, and individual.  But most of all, I look forward to serving as a positive female role model that will help support, nurture, and develop the young women of The Highlands.”
